Job Description

This full-time contract position offers the chance to work in person, supporting a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With a manageable caseload of about 30 studentsprimarily at the elementary levelyoull have the ability to focus on meaningful, individualized interventions.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure and credentials
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with students from elementary through high school
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments to identify strengths and areas of need related to fine motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, and classroom performance
  • Write accurate and timely progress reports, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress and access to curriculum
  • Offer guidance and training to staff to help integrate therapeutic strategies throughout the school day

This role offers the stability of a full-time, 37.5-hour work week, set in a collaborative and supportive educational environment. You'll work closely with a passionate team committed to delivering high-quality support for students at pivotal moments in their development.
