A K-12 school in Columbus, GA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support student development and enhance their educational experience. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic setting where you can make a meaningful impact on childrens lives by providing therapeutic services that promote independence and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Georgia Occupational Therapist or COTA license
- Experience working with the K-12 school-age population preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of educational and therapeutic best practices within schools
Job Details:

- Hours: 37.5 per week, 5 days per week
