Required Skills & Background:

  • Active and valid South Carolina Occupational Therapist license
  • South Carolina Educator Certification
  • Experience in OT within schools, teletherapy, healthcare, or home health environments preferred
  • Confidence conducting formal assessments for diverse student populations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills for effective IEP team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and complete thorough OT assessments
  • Craft individualized, student-centered goals based on assessment findings
  • Lead and participate actively in IEP meetings with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services according to IEP mandates
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and monitor student progress
