Job Description

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Hold a valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages student independence and development

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to student needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Guide instructional staff and families on strategies to support students functional skills
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed to ensure consistent service delivery
