An occupational therapist opportunity is available for the entire school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Colorado Springs, CO. This contract position focuses on providing occupational therapy services to students in a school environment, supporting their development and ability to participate fully in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT evaluations and interventions tailored to students individual needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Utilize various service delivery models including in-person, teletherapy, and home health as needed.
• Support students across a range of healthcare and developmental challenges to enhance functional skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in K-12 school settings.
• Proficient in delivering OT services through teletherapy and home health.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare and educational requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs and learning environments.
