Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2025-26 school year in the Colorado Springs area. This dynamic role offers both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (60 minutes per month, in-home services) options, ensuring flexibility for your professional circumstances.
Youll deliver typical OT services, including IEP participation, conducting evaluations, and providing both direct and indirect interventions across multiple schools within the district. The position also involves itinerant work with travel paid, allowing you to make a broader impact while supporting a manageable caseload.
Skills and Experience Preferred:
- Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist (OT) License and Teaching Certificate (CDE)
- Strong background in school-based OT practices (IEPs, evaluations, direct and indirect services)
- Experience with teletherapy, home health, or broader healthcare OT settings valued
- Ability to work with diverse caseloads across K-12 settings, including itinerant services
- Familiarity with completing daily documentation and collaborating with school teams
- Excellent communication and time management skills
What Youll Contribute:
- Provide OT services based on students IEPs and individual needs
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and monitor progress in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver interventions both in-person and via teletherapy or in-home settings as required
- Participate in meetings, maintaining compliance and professional standards
- Travel within the district (with travel paid) to serve assigned schools
