An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapy services within multiple K-12 schools in Colorado Springs, CO during the 2025-26 school year. This full-time contract position requires delivering comprehensive OT support across a caseload of students while collaborating closely with educators and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, administer direct and indirect OT services, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide therapy services in an itinerant model, supporting students across multiple school locations.
- Complete documentation in compliance with district requirements.
- Collaborate with school teams to implement effective intervention plans.
- Support students through in-home and teletherapy services as needed (part-time option available).
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist license.
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certification.
- Experience working in school-based OT settings, including knowledge of typical IEP processes.
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseload demands within a school district framework.
- Flexibility to deliver services both onsite in schools and through teletherapy.
- Willingness to participate in interviews via Zoom or in person.
Position Details:
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
- Schedule: Full time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time teletherapy/in-home services (minimum 60 minutes per month).
- Assigned to multiple K-12 schools with an itinerant caseload.
- Contract position for the 2025-26 academic year.
- Interview formats available by Zoom or onsite with prompt decision-making.
