Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Occupational Therapy license in Colorado (CO OT License)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student goals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Document sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding strategies for classroom and home environments
- Travel between schools within the district as needed
