Looking for an exciting opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist? Take your practice to the next level as part of a collaborative team supporting students ages 518. This contract role offers you the flexibility to choose between full-time and part-time schedules, working onsite or via teletherapy, and making a positive impact each day.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current Occupational Therapy license/credentials for Washington
- Previous experience in a school setting, including teletherapy, preferred
- Confidence working with diverse student populations, ages 518
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and educators
- Ability to adapt interventions for a range of student needs and abilities
- Tech-savvy approach for delivering services and maintaining documentation
- Commitment to ethical practice and compliance with district and state guidelines
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services, both in-person and via secure teletherapy platforms
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records according to school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Attend virtual interviews and respond promptly to scheduling
