As an Occupational Therapist serving elementary, middle, and high school students, youll collaborate with educators and families to help students thrive both academically and socially. Your expertise will guide students toward greater independence and improved participation in daily school activities.

What youll bring:
Current license to practice occupational therapy in New Mexico
Experience working in a school-based setting (preferred)
Ability to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds
Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and reporting
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Compassionate and patient approach to working with children and adolescents
Adaptability and flexibility to address varying student needs

Key responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and barriers to learning
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support holistic student development
Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
Document progress and maintain detailed, timely records
Support classroom modifications and accommodations
Contribute to team meetings and ongoing program development
