This contract opportunity offers the chance to work on-site within a dedicated educational environment, building meaningful relationships with students and staff throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico OT licensure required
• Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in providing direct therapy, conducting assessments, and report-writing
• Ability to travel between sites in an itinerant capacity
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop individualized goals
• Prepare thorough documentation and progress reports as required
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support IEP goals
• Participate in eligibility meetings & IEP team discussions
• Adapt interventions to the unique needs of each child, supporting their academic and functional progress

This role is scheduled Monday through Friday with a 37.5 hour workweek, covering the school year from August 10, 2026 to May 20, 2027. The caseload involves itinerant travel between sites and requires a willingness to work directly with students rather than through virtual (VOCO) platforms.
