Key Qualifications:

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico (required)
• Previous experience in school settings, with proficiency in assessments and IEP-driven interventions
• Comfort traveling between multiple school sites for itinerant assignments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing reports and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing on-site services; remote/VOCO options not available
• Exceptional time management and flexibility to adapt within dynamic environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT interventions to support student success in academic and functional skills
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and contribute to IEP documentation
• Travel between designated school locations as an itinerant therapist
• Maintain accurate, timely records and clear report writing
• Educate staff and families on strategies to promote student well-being and participation
• Engage actively with the educational team to ensure holistic approaches to student care
