This contract position, based near Cincinnati, OH, offers the chance to work with a vibrant student population directly within the classroom setting. As an itinerant therapist, youll provide direct support to a young caseload one day each week through the end of the current school year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Ohio
• School-based, pediatric, and/or teletherapy OT experience preferred
• Familiarity with IEP systems and processes
• Capable of adapting interventions to a classroom environment
• Home health, healthcare, or teletherapy backgrounds are valuable assets
• Ability to complete any required background checks and fingerprinting per school standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs, tracking progress and providing classroom-based support
• Adapt and implement activities that promote student participation and independence
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies in daily classroom routines
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely communication with stakeholders
• Participate in contract review processes, board meetings, and other school-based team activities as needed
• Travel as an itinerant OTmileage compensation may be available
