Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy is required
  • Demonstrated ability to travel between various school buildings within the district as needed
  • Prior experience supporting pediatric or special education populations is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational settings for all learners

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions tailored for early childhood students
  • Assess students functional abilities; develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
  • Document progress and maintain accurate and timely records as part of the IEP team
  • Adapt strategies and tools to best serve students with diverse needs and abilities
