Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience working with children with diverse abilities, preferably in school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to delivering student-centered, compassionate care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and student needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with school protocols
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student support
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that empowers students
