Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license required
• School-based occupational therapy experience is highly preferred
• Ability to connect and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Adaptable with the flexibility to work across multiple grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Gather and interpret data to help create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, document findings, and recommend therapy goals/interventions
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
