Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the diverse needs of students
• Dedication to supporting students with a variety of physical, developmental, and emotional challenges

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct OT services on-site according to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate sensory and motor activities into the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommendations with the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, student progress, and correspondence
• Educate families and school personnel on strategies to support students' functional independence
