Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility)
- Masters degree from an accredited OT program
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings strongly preferred
- Ability to perform assessments, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and creative approach to interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group Occupational Therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students sensory, motor, and functional needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure cohesive support
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and maintain compliance with school and state protocols
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting student well-being and accessibility
