Key Qualifications:

  • Active OT licensure in Alaska (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual IEPs and diverse needs
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school-based OT

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support students motor, sensory, and functional skill development
  • Deliver direct and consultative services in alignment with students IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create accessible learning environments
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
  • Provide training and resources for staff regarding sensory integration, adaptive equipment, and classroom strategies
