What were looking for:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of pediatric development, sensory processing, and educational-based interventions
• Skilled in adapting therapeutic techniques to a diverse student population
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for helping students achieve developmental and academic milestones

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Designing individualized treatment plans and goals based on each students unique needs
• Providing direct therapy services and implementing interventions within classrooms or therapy rooms
• Consulting with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and access to curriculum
• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting student progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable input as a member of the support team
• Staying current with best practices and continuing professional development
