Assignments are available at two welcoming sites, offering the chance to work alongside collaborative teams and diverse student populations. The Gridley site begins June 8th, while the second assignment starts June 11th, both concluding July 2nd. With a schedule of approximately three days per week, you'll have the flexibility to enjoy a balanced summer.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (California)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct OT services to students with varying needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to establish effective strategies
- Develop and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Adapt activities and environments to enhance students participation and independence
