In this part-time school-based role, youll serve PreK through 8th-grade students over two to three days a week, making a difference with a focused caseload while maintaining worklife balance. Youll grow professionally by collaborating with educators and leaders, expanding your toolkit through exposure to new strategies, and building relationships within a supportive setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide direct therapy for students PreK8th grade
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and targeted treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Serve a diverse caseload and adapt interventions to student needs
