Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Illinois
• Previous experience serving school-aged children is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and therapy implementation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
• Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Implement direct and consultative OT services to help students achieve academic and functional goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and strategies to support student development
• Educate staff and families on best practices and strategies for student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district guidelines
• Adapt learning environments and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications when needed
