A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support school-aged students in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on delivering therapeutic services within an educational setting, helping children develop the skills they need to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and interventions.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license to practice in Illinois.
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches based on individual student needs.
