Desired qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active and current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- School-based experience preferred, but strong new grads encouraged to apply
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Skilled in documentation and use of progress monitoring tools
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, both individually and in group settings
- Conduct assessments and interpret evaluation findings to help inform IEP development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert input for student care
- Document intervention plans, treatment sessions, and progress according to school protocols
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student learning and engagement
- Guide and train classroom staff and assistive personnel where needed
