Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting K-5th grade students, working onsite to help them develop essential skills for academic and personal success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois.
  • Experience or strong interest in working in school-based or pediatric settings.
  • Familiarity with elementary school caseloads.
  • Collaborative spirit with strong communication and organization skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify their current abilities and areas needing improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that align with each students educational goals.
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and school teams to support classroom participation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and legal standards.
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy in both individual and group settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations to optimize students school experience.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based strategies in school-based occupational therapy.

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
