Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related area from an accredited institution
  • At least three years of Occupational Therapy experience, including three years within a school setting
  • Active Illinois State license to provide occupational therapy services
  • Registration with the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR)
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students in K-8th grade per individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, develop, and implement therapeutic plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Travel between two or three campuses within the Lake County area as assigned
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student growth
  • Maintain timely documentation and accurate reports for compliance and student progress
