Job Description

In this position, youll join an interdisciplinary team working onsite with early childhood students. The program emphasizes both academic and functional growth through hands-on, exploratory activities. By interweaving language therapy, motor therapies, and technology, youll help maximize each childs opportunity for success.

What were seeking:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in early childhood educational settings
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to work across various grade levels and adapt to evolving caseloads (caseload to be determined)
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive practices and student-centered care

Your key responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood students in a classroom-based program
  • Partner with speech/language therapists, teachers, and other professionals in an integrated service model
  • Develop and implement engaging, individualized therapy plans
  • Support the creation of functional, academic, and play-based experiences to help children reach developmental milestones
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with families and staff on student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, proactive learning environment
