Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois OT license required
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across early childhood to elementary grades
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students from ages 3-11, addressing fine motor skills, sensory needs, and adaptive strategies
- Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for IEP development
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student inclusion and learning
- Provide guidance, resources, and training for families and staff as needed
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student participation and independence
