Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois OT license required
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across early childhood to elementary grades

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students from ages 3-11, addressing fine motor skills, sensory needs, and adaptive strategies
• Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for IEP development
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student inclusion and learning
• Provide guidance, resources, and training for families and staff as needed
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student participation and independence
