Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Compassionate, proactive, and flexible approach to therapy
- Ability to design and implement individualized interventions for diverse needs
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to elementary students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, plan, and adapt interventions for students with a variety of disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Monitor, document, and report student progress toward therapeutic goals
- Support development of fine motor, sensory integration, and adaptive skills within the educational setting
