Job Description

An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist at an early childhood school in Chicago, IL. This contract position runs throughout the school year and offers the chance to work closely with young learners from Pre-K through 1st grade in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to 51 students from Pre-K to 1st grade
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement therapy plans that enhance student development
  • Assess, plan, and document student progress in alignment with IL OT licensing guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain communication with families regarding therapy goals and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Experience working with early childhood populations in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage therapy caseload and documentation
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
