Key Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience or interest in working with a wide age range: Early Childhood, Pre-K, Elementary (Grades K5), Middle (Grades 68), and High School (Grades 912)
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptable and creative in developing individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and develop targeted occupational therapy interventions
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to promote academic and functional skills
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to set goals and monitor progress
- Consult with educators and families to implement strategies across school settings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, nurturing school culture that values every students potential
