Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position, based near Chandler, AZ, focuses on delivering high-impact occupational therapy services on-site across multiple school campuses. Youll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential by enhancing fine motor, sensory, and life skills necessary for success in school settings.
Your week will be structured around a full-time Monday through Friday schedule (40 hours/week), with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of your assigned campuses. Caseload specifics will be determined prior to your start, ensuring a match to your experience and strengths.
What You'll Bring:
- Masters Degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Experience in school-based OT settings highly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students across Pre-K12th grade
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in a school setting
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and related service teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Support students in developing life, functional, and educational skills
