Qualifications/Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active OT license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain).
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and treatment plans.
• Ability to adapt strategies to a variety of learning environments and student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to support students participation in school routines and activities.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students unique strengths, needs, and goals.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
• Document therapy activities, progress notes, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and home carryover activities.
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insight to support student growth and access to curriculum.
