Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure and NBCOT certification required
• Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
• Compassion, patience, and creativity in addressing students diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students functional abilities within the school environment
• Develop and update individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students receiving OT services
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
• Offer consultation and training to teachers, staff, and parents to support students progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt therapy techniques and materials to enhance student engagement and success
