A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specialized in school settings to support students in Castle Rock, CO. This contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact on the educational and developmental progress of children by providing specialized OT services in person and through teletherapy.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing students occupational therapy needs within the school environment
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student goals
- Providing direct therapy services both on-site and via teletherapy platforms
- Documenting progress and ensuring compliance with school and healthcare standards
- Offering home health OT services as needed to support continuity of care
Required qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Skilled in delivering OT services through teletherapy and home health models
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with state regulations and documentation standards related to school-based OT
