Experience the rewarding impact of supporting students across various school environments as an Occupational Therapist for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract role offers opportunities for both in-school and home health services near Colorado Springs, Colorado. With full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time (in-home, 60 minutes/month) openings, youll work with a diverse K-12 caseload across multiple sites.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Colorado OT license and relevant teaching certification (CDE required)
- Background in school-based, home health, teletherapy, and/or general pediatric OT settings
- Proficient in completing evaluations, implementing IEPs, and delivering both direct and indirect services
- Adaptability and organizational skills to navigate an itinerant schedule
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve students in various school locations and in-home settings, traversing multiple school sites as needed
- Develop, review, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with district policies
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and establish service recommendations
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Manage caseload responsibilities, ensuring high-quality documentation and compliance with district expectations
- Participate in administrative tasks, such as team meetings and contributing to IEP paperwork
