Job Description

This opportunity requires a licensed Occupational Therapist experienced in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based settings. Serving K-12 students across multiple schools within the district, you will provide essential occupational therapy services tailored to each students needs. This contract position is set for the 2025-2026 school year, offering both full-time and part-time schedules.

Position Details

  • Contract duration: 2025-26 school year
  • Work hours: Full time (37.5 hours/week) or part time (60 minutes/month for in-home services)
  • Caseload model with multiple schools assigned
  • Typical duties include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing both direct and indirect therapy services
  • Responsibilities include documenting and attending team meetings
  • No supervision responsibilities as contractor; district does not provide supervision for this role

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid Colorado Occupational Therapy License required
  • Colorado Department of Education teaching certification mandatory
  • Experience in school settings preferred, with skills in teletherapy and home health occupational therapy a strong asset
  • Familiarity with caseload management in educational districts
  • Ability to conduct evaluations and develop IEPs in compliance with special education requirements
