Job Description

An occupational therapy professional is sought to provide comprehensive services across multiple K-12 schools in Colorado Springs, CO, for the 2025-26 school year. This contract role offers both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (60 minutes per month for in-home services) opportunities serving a diverse caseload utilizing a caseload model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services aligned with school district requirements
  • Collaborate with school personnel and families to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist License
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching Certification is mandatory
  • Experience working within a school district caseload model preferred
  • Comfort with both in-person therapy and teletherapy service delivery models
  • Ability to provide itinerant services across multiple school locations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and typical OT duties within a school setting
