Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state OT license (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
  • Additional background in home health, healthcare, or teletherapy is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborative mindset and a team-oriented approach

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assess students needs and implement individualized OT interventions
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services in classrooms, homes, and virtually
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams on IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Support students in achieving educational, social, and developmental goals
  • Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development
