Youll collaborate with dedicated faculty and staff, working onsite and engaging directly with students across different school sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Mexico
  • Previous experience providing OT services within school settings, preferably itinerant roles
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including the ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Proficient in report-writing and maintaining accurate student documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and organizational skills for managing varied caseloads in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students with varied needs across multiple campuses
  • Assess and evaluate students as needed; create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
  • Conduct thorough documentation and prepare detailed reports related to student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support generalization of skills and ensure holistic care
  • Travel between designated school sites as required by assigned caseload
