Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to identify students' abilities and challenges
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct therapy to students individually or in groups, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and organization
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining detailed and compliant records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and provide staff training or consultation as needed
