Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings
  • Familiarity with treatment planning, intervention, and progress monitoring for pediatric or adolescent populations
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers, support staff, and parents
  • Adaptability, organizational skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services across elementary and middle school levels
  • Evaluate students to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educational teams for IEP development and progress reviews
  • Provide direct intervention sessions and consultative support for classroom accommodations
  • Track and document therapy sessions, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Engage students with creative approaches tailored to their needs, promoting functional skills
