Make a meaningful impact working as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across two nearby schools. This contract role offers a fulfilling opportunity to assist K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities, tailoring interventions that foster growth and success. With a manageable commutejust 10 minutes between schoolsyou'll divide your time evenly, working two days weekly at each location. This hands-on, onsite position begins as soon as possible and runs through December, granting you valuable experience while positively shaping student outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities at the elementary, middle, or high school level
• Familiarity with IEPs and educational collaboration
• Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and parents
• Organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
• Compliance with district and state-specific requirements for school-based therapy roles

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted occupational therapy services to K-12 students aligned with their IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
• Assess, document, and report on student needs and therapeutic interventions
• Travel between two schools (just 10 minutes apart) with a flexible two-day-per-site schedule
• Adjust interventions according to ongoing assessments and team input
