Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for school-based OT services
- Strong understanding of assessments, therapy interventions, and IEP processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Must meet all applicable Massachusetts and district-specific guidelines for school settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to K-8 students in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct formal assessments and comprehensive evaluations of students needs
- Document services, progress reports, and assessment outcomes accurately and promptly
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families
- Develop creative interventions and recommendations to promote student growth
