This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for licensed Occupational Therapists who are passionate about helping students achieve success in their academic and daily lives.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Professional experience working in school settings
- Ability to develop and implement individualized plans for students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students needs
- Develop and provide therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students educational progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Address students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills through evidence-based interventions
- Consult regularly with educational team members to contribute to students individualized education programs (IEPs)
