Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts (MA OT License required)
- Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with K-12 populations
- Skills in OT for schools, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive, standardized assessments for a diverse caseload
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for documentation and teamwork
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer evaluations as part of the special education process, focusing solely on assessment and testing (no ongoing therapy caseload)
- Collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and other professionals to deliver clear and concise evaluation results and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Adapt assessment methods to meet the varied needs of students from kindergarten through grade 12
