Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students across several communities in the greater Camas area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working closely with a diverse student population of about 55 children, providing services throughout multiple schools. The assignment runs from early January through mid-June, with future extension possible for the next academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and ESA credential required
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals
- Skilled in working with a broad range of disabilities and ages (K-12)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with school staff and families
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently across multiple locations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and track progress
- Collaborate with educators and specialists on student care plans
- Provide training, consultation, and support to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
