A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapeutic services within a school setting in Camarillo, CA. This contract position focuses on delivering quality care and support to students, fostering their independence and participation in educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students with diverse needs to improve their functional performance in school.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct OT services including goal planning, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the school team.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapy License.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Strong knowledge of home health and healthcare occupational therapy settings is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation.
