Job Description

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting young learners! This full-time contract position is based at the district office and focuses on serving an Infant and Toddler caseload. The role is set to start as soon as possible and extends through July 1, 2027, offering a rewarding and consistent assignment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Prior experience in a school setting or working with infants and toddlers strongly preferred
  • Understanding of school-based therapy practices and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop therapy plans for students in the Infant and Toddler program
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support student participation and development
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement strategies that facilitate learning
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and participate in IFSP meetings
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to pediatric occupational therapy

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
