Requirements:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess students functional skills, sensory needs, and support requirements within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions to promote academic access and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation on assessments, progress notes, and therapy outcomes
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and parents, to support student success
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom and home adaptations
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based occupational therapy
