This full-time role supports two positions, each located on the south end of the county, providing vital occupational therapy services for the 2026-2027 academic year. Youll be part of a dedicated school-based team that values collaboration and student-centered interventions.
Key qualifications:
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt services to meet diverse student needs
- Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services to students as identified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to help students achieve functional and academic goals
- Support classroom strategies for sensory, motor, and adaptive skills
