Job Description

Make a real impact by supporting students development and well-being as a contract occupational therapist in a school-based setting near Byron, MN. Work collaboratively with educators and families serving elementary, middle, and high school students to promote independence, participation, and academic growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota occupational therapist license required
  • Experience working in a school environment is preferred
  • Comfortable supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with staff, students, and parents
  • Ability to assess student needs and develop effective intervention plans
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate OT strategies in the classroom
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school guidelines
  • Educate parents and staff on best practices for supporting students functional skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
