Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with required state credentials
- Fluency in Spanish (bilingual proficiency required)
- Experience working with children, ideally in K12 and early elementary (K3) populations
- Background in school-based, home health, or pediatric healthcare OT
- Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and adaptability in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and functional goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver therapy in school-based settings and, as needed, through home health visits
- Advocate for students needs, modifying interventions as required to promote inclusion and participation
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with educational and professional standards
