Step into an exciting opportunity to support students growth and development through dedicated Occupational Therapy services in a vibrant educational community. Were seeking three skilled Occupational Therapists for the upcoming academic year: two full-time specialists and one long-term substitute for the first few months (exact dates to be determined).
Youll provide direct and consultative services to a caseload of 20-40 students, primarily working with Setting 4 students. All assignments are based out of a single building, with placements at one of several respected education centers in the area. Youll enjoy collaborating with a passionate team of educators and support staff and making a meaningful difference in childrens lives.
What were looking for:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
- Strong background in school-based OT best practices
- Experience supporting students with a variety of needs, especially those in Setting 4 environments
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and resourcefulness
Key responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy and consult with instructional staff and families
- Track progress and maintain timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to foster students academic and functional skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Engage students in both individual and group settings
This contract role begins September 8, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027. The schedule is 37.5 hours per week, aligning with the school calendar and offering great work-life balance.
