Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Minnesota
- Previous experience delivering OT services in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Skilled in case management, documentation, and communicating with students, families, and education staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments and developing targeted treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Leading case management duties, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other therapists to support student success
- Monitoring and tracking student progress through accurate, timely documentation and regular communication
- Offering support and consultative services for classroom adaptations and accommodations
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
